Wine and Senses

Wine is not indispensable to man, it never has been.
Water would be enough to satisfy the primary need for thirst.

The history of wine tells us that since ancient times it was the favorite drink to sharpen intellectual powers, fight restlessness and boredom, revive the intellect, fire the imagination.
Abusing wine means not appreciating its value and devaluing the senses we need to interpret it.

All our senses, from the first to the sixth, are involved in the tasting of wine, be it individual or shared, professional or hedonistic, technical or amateur.

The synergy between sight, smell, taste, touch, hearing and consciousness (if we want to call it that) allows us to discover, rediscover, appreciate images, memories, emotions.
